South of the River Band got its start in 2006 at the young ages of 13 with Austin Clark and Adam Spaur as two of the original members of the group. Tarah Marie joined in 2010 followed by Zac Windland and Thomas Eaton in early 2011. They have opened for numerous Nashville Artists through the years.

Each new member brings distinct talent and collaborates to reach a unique sound. Each of the band members brings their unique style and personality to the group bringing a refreshing variety of musical sound ranging from old and new country to southern rock. They have gained a solid fan base that expands with every show.

In 2011, the band entered Movie Sound Studios and recorded their first debut single, “Goodbye” which was mastered by Emmy Award winner David Traugh. Cinematographer AJ Satterfield of AJ Productions, arranged their first music video to the song in October 2011. Sparking the attention of many local radio stations, “Goodbye” has been played on WNUS 107.1, WGGE 99.1, and WBYG 99.5.
