*** Update to Rules – Wednesday, August 1, 2012 ***
- The number of participants will be capped at 70, due to the limited time available for Auditions – between 11AM and 6PM.
- All participants should be at The Adelphia by 11AM. If it is not possible for you to arrive at that time, late arrivals will be granted auditions on a first-come, first-served basis, time permitting until 6PM.
- Auditions may be limited to three (3) minutes of your chosen song.
- If you will be singing to a music track, you must bring on a Audio CD. Please label your CD! The song should be in “karaoke” format, with the primary vocal track muted/removed.
- The selected top performer must be willing to travel at their own expense to the Los Angeles, CA “Open Call” August 11-12, 2012.
The Adelphia is pleased to announce that we will be filming auditions for NBC’s hit show THE VOICE on Saturday, August 4, 2012.

The Adelphia will submit ALL of the filmed auditions to the producers of the show, Finnmax LLC.
THE ADELPHIA MUSIC HALL has been asked by NBC’s THE VOICE to select ONE favorite entrant as our “official Voice Video Submission”.
This “favorite” will receive a “front of the line pass” at the Los Angeles CA “Open Call” August 11th and 12th 2012, from The Voice. (Selected entrant must pay their own expenses.)
All other videos will also be sent to The Voice for their official review, but only ONE entrant from The Adelphia Audtions on Aug 4 will be given the “front of the line” pass by the Voice. (again, you must pay your own expenses to LA)
You must be fifteen years of age by October 1, 2012, in order to participate, and all entrants under the age of eighteen must have a signed parental or guardian consent form.
The general guidelines
-If performers are using accompaniment, it must be by only ONE instrument.
It can be a second musician or themselves.
-The Adelphia will provide a piano with weighted keys. If performer is using a piano, they must use the one provided.
-A Cappella songs ARE permitted
-Performers can sing over tracks/pre-recorded music if that wish, but hey must provide The Adelphia with a CD of that music.
-Duos are welcome. But they can only audition as a duo OR soloist. They can not audition as both
-All performers are asked to be prepared to sing TWO songs but might only perform ONE.
-All performers are encouraged to tell a little bit about themselves on the audition video BE CREATIVE, but keep it BRIEF.

-All entrees must download the forms*, fill them out and bring them to The Adelphia Music Hall on the day of their taped audition.

IMPORTANT – All entrees must arrive at The Adelphia Music Hall 205 Second Street Marietta by 11AM on Aug 4th 2012. They will let you know then about when you will perform your song(s).
